I can hardly believe that 4 years ago I was holding my tiny baby boy. Look at him now!
We made him a Herbie cake for the family party and then had a race car party with some of his little friends. We painted little wooden race cars and ate french toast and cupcakes per Evan's request. He had a lot of fun and was pretty excited that so many people knew it was HIS birthday. Thank you to everyone who made his day. He sure is a special kid.

That picture brings tears to my eyes and puts a lump in my throat! That little miracle we call Evan looks just like my sister's baby (at 28 weeks gestation), who only lived for a brief time, did. Evan is a trooper and so are you guys! What a fun BIRTHday to celebrate every year. He truly is a miracle.

That cake is awesome... I have resorted to buying all my baked goods these days.. that's horrible. I can't be a good mom and buy my cakes can I?... Happy Birthday Evan! Looks like we are going to have someone to sing to in Primary on Sunday! Yay!
