Funny Story

Dallin has always had a love of water. Once he discovered the toilet he was sure it was made just for his pleasure. I had him broken of the habit once, but as of late the fetish with the toilet water has resurfaced. I was fed up with it last night because he was deliberately disobeying while I was brushing Evan's teeth and he thought he could get away with it. Well, I lightly slapped the back of his little legs and told him "No playing in the toilet". He gave me the grumpiest face and shed a few tears and then marched himself straight to our "naughty seat". He climbed right up onto it and gave himself a little timeout. It was too cute! I guess he knows how it works around here by watching his older brother. Well, tonight he decided to play in the toilet again. I told him to get out and he responded with a grumpy "NO!" and then marched himself to the naughty seat. I snagged pictures this time. Hey, this self-disciplining is working quite nicely.

I also got a little bit of video and it's hilarious, but I can't remember how to get it on here.

Good job mom with the self discipline thing. You should write a book. And that picture is too adorable!

I know how exciting the toilet can be. I'm glad to know that it's just not our toilet that is super cool. Too bad Hudson hasn't figured out the self-discipline thing yet...maybe next week!

What a GREAT picture! I can't believe how big Dallin looks. Now if only all kids were self-disciplining. . .

Very, very funny. I think he and Alden would have a lot in common. They could just come to our house and go fishing together (or whatever) right in the bathroom. We need to get a less comfortable time-out chair like yours though. It might help us. Good Luck!
