Birthday Girl

Birthdays are a great reminder of how many people love you. Just in case you were feeling insignificant or under appreciated, having a birthday helps you realize the wonderful family and friends who surround you. So to all of you, thank you for making it a special day for me. Despite the fact that Matthew is terribly busy right now, and not that great in the whole gift giving department, he gallantly rushed in at the end of the day with a delicious strawberry custard cake and flowers. That's right, my Matthew brought me flowers. He said he never would. Granted it is a potted plant of roses that I am going to desperately try not to kill, but they are flowers and they are beautiful. I love being loved!

Meghan, Nielsen boys don't believe in giving someone "dead" flowers. Although bouquets are wonderful and beautiful, getting potted flowers is nice too. How thoughtful Matthew.

Well, a very Happy Belated Bday to you! I feel sheepish for not knowing beforehand- but I bet you can't tell me when MINE is either! :) I should've checked the primary roster. Sure glad to have met you and glad you were born!

Happy Birthday...
This Nielsen doesn't have a problem giving "dead" flowers, as long as I don't have to buy them. I'm a fan of picking flowers.

Hey Bethany! Happy Birthday! How are you doing old neighbor? How are things in SF? I love that everyone is so connected through these blog pages. I finally got one myself a few months ago. Feel free to check it out. Your boys are so adorable and Evan has grown so much. Good luck with the 3rd year of school, it's alot like the first year. Take care and I hope to hear from you sometime.
