Funny Convo's

Like I said, Evan and I have been having some very interesting conversations since he learned the "Why" word. Today as we were driving around and running errands we saw a Hummer that was painted like a snake. Evan was asking questions so I told him what it was and that his Grandpa Icecream use to drive one when he was in the army. He informed me that Grandpa was not in the army. I agreed and said that he use to be, but now he's retired. He wanted to know why he was tired. I explained that people REtire from their jobs when they get old. Well that really upset him and he wanted to make sure that I understood that Grandpa was not old and he wasn't tired. Just thought you would appreciate that Dad. He sure does think you're something special. I wish we lived closer so he could play with his buddy more often.

Evan has a fascination with the weather I think. Everytime we walk out side he tells me what it's like. "It's a beautiful, sunny day today." "It's too windy and I'm freezing cold." "Look the fog is rolling in." I appreciate that he is so observant and helps me to appreciate each day in this world.
