June-Bug

We've got some catching up to do so here is what I can remember about June. It looks like we kept forgetting the camera because I couldn't find very many pictures from the month. I do remember a few things though. I played a lot of softball games and finished up a season of basketball with my girls. We placed 3rd I think, but had a whole lot fun playing. I know there is a picture of our team somewhere out there, but I'll have to plug that in later.

It was actually kind of a sad month with way too many good-byes.  We had to say good-bye to school which Evan wasn't really all that sad about. He was happy to have more time at home to play and make beautiful messes in his playroom.  I sure do wish I still had a little bit of that creativity in me.

We had to say good-bye to Eva and Elijah. They would come and play with us Tuesday - Friday and it sure made D happy to have play-mates all the time. It was fun having a girl around too. She taught us how to fly around like fairies and walk like a princess.
We had to say good-bye to our FABULOUS FRIENDS the Tingey family. That was rough on all of us, but we're so excited for them to be able to be closer to family.  We sure miss having them around. They were a top-notch family and we are better for being around them.

We decided to surprise my mom for her birthday, so the boys and I hopped into the car and drove to Idaho. My dad was awesome with our covert-op and she was definitely surprised when we came running into the house.  Of course we had a great time playing with family and enjoying some beautiful sunshine.

They may not like to smile for pictures but these two are the best parents I could have asked for. My boys just think the world of them and we just love them both to pieces. We can never spend enough time with em'.

I guess that's kind of it for June.
Stay tuned for July - September.

Oh, I am so glad to see that you updated your blog. You take such great pictures. And, I CANNOT believe that skeeter syndrome. I had no idea that even existed. Poor kid. Can't wait to hear more about the rest of your summer. And, you couldn't have explained Eva more correctly. She spends most of her days in a tutu!
