Buy me some peanuts and Cracker-Jacks

We are coming up on the end of our first experience in little league and what a blast it has been. We have enjoyed watching these little guys improve their skills drastically and become a pretty great team. We have not participated in any kind of "official" team sport with Evan yet so it was a fun adventure for us all. I discovered that my big boy Evan is actually quite little. He is the smallest on his team, but the great part about that is he got to be #1. They named themselves the Red Raiders and as soon as we arrive at the game Evan is checking out what color we are playing against and then he will say, "Hey Mom, we're fighting the purple team day." I think we finally have him convinced that it is not so much a fight, but just playing. He has a good little arm and is quite accurate. He doesn't use the T as much anymore as they pitch a couple first. I'm proud of my little baller and I look forward to many more spring days spent at the baseball field. I love ya Sport!

great grandpa green even shreds the advertisements that come to his home because they have his name and address on them. I think he just likes to shred lol He's in shock at the lack of privacy ya'll have. He's a different generation, true, but there were so very many things the "greatest generation" taught us. The amazing sacrifice of world war II, the great depression, living on barely anything and not needing so much "stuff". I wish great-grandpa could see better.

Great-grandpa Green doesn't quite know what to think regarding keeping pictures and histories on the internet. He loves privacy and even shreds the ad's that come to his home because they have his name and address on them and sometimes his name is even spelled correctly :-) I think he just loves to shred. We won't have the greatest generation with us much longer and they learned so much and endured and sacrificed so much. I'm glad I could share your T ball league picture with your great grandpa green
