I have some catching up to do. Dallin celebrated the big 2 on the 13th. It was a Sunday so we didn't do much, but it was memorable enough that he and Evan still talk about it. Evan and I put up the birthday sign and streamers and made his stellar birthday cake. I was feeling pretty lazy since I had played in a basketball tournament the day before and I'm not as agile as I once was. So, that meant only a small creation for the poor fella. We tried to recreate the tractor tipping scene from Cars We ate our yummy dinner and cake and then he ripped open his presents. He's a professional present opener these days. I think he had a pretty great day. He still walks around singing Happy Birthday every once in a while.
Notice he always has a car in his hand. ALWAYS! I sure am grateful for my little dude. He still looks like a miniature of my dad to me with his big head and hands and puppy dog eyes. He's got a great laugh and loves to sing. He's pretty darn sure he just turned 4 and can do everything Evan does. They get along great (most of the time) and Dallin is always up for a good time just so long as it involves running, jumping, throwing and yelling. He came in so quietly into this world but is anything but quiet these days. He just wants to make sure that everyone knows he is here and loving life. We love you Dallin!
These are for you Mooma & Pop-pop. Can you believe he's so big?

Oh my goodness, Bethany! He is sooo adorable! Totally melts my heart!
I loved the birthday cake and the look on his face when he sees the frosting on the bottom of the car. Too cute. I thought your cake was very creative.
