The Inner-Child
Matthew had a free Friday and decided he needed to get away. So, we went out to Brentwood. He always gets an itch to go hiking in the spring. It sure is beautiful with the green hills and wild flowers. We went for a nice stroll through Black Diamond with Matthew's parents. The boys loved exploring and finding all sorts of neat rocks and weeds. Evan was our tour guide with his expert map reading skills. Oh to see the world through the eyes of a child. What an adventure!

I am so jealous!! I want to go on a little hike there too! I love Evan with his little camel back...my kids love theirs too! Maybe I can talk Aaron into making a trip down there with me soon, before he gets too busy at work!

it's so beautiful...now I really have spring fever.
What a FUN afternoon. I heard that Fort Ross is really beautiful to visit. Its where the Russian river meets the ocean? Lots of history there.
