It just so happens that the book closest to me at this very moment is The Preschooler's Busy Book - 365 creative games and activities to keep your 3 to 6 year old busy.
It's a real lifesaver some days.
Print each letter in your child's name on an index card. Lay them out to spell your child's name. Mix them up and have her try to put them back in the proper order.
Not quite as profound or beautiful as your selection Kara, but important none the less. It's called the name game. I haven't done this one yet. Maybe I should.
