Splish - Splash
We have been enjoying some beautiful weather as of late and so we are trying to make the best of it. Who needs a luscious, green yard when you have a nice wooden deck to splash around on. Apartment life can be so grand.

This week we ventured to a new beach on the Tomales Bay called Heart's Desire. The boys and I decided to hike the mile down to it just for fun, and to save a few bucks.
Of course we had to look for Bambi's and pretend that we were hunting for monsters all along the way. I love those times when I'm reminded how much fun it is to be a kid and live in a world of imagination. Evan was a great guide and he made sure that Dallin got in on the fun too. I just love being able to hang out with my little buddies and enjoying the nature.
The beach was GREAT and we got to see more jellyfish in one day, dead or alive, then I ever have. I went wading with Dallin to see how far I could go and when we ran into a jelly the size of a basketball we decided to just stick to the beach. Good thing we had so many friends around to play with.
After we had as much fun in the sun as we could handle we hiked back up to the van and enjoyed a beautiful ride home. We drove through many magical forests full of ugly trolls and fairies. This place is truly breathtaking at times. I will surely miss it when we leave.

Bethany, will you come be my mom? You're such a great mom, and I love the idea of the pool on the deck! Pure genius! You're boys are going to grow up to be great people...I can already tell!
That's great. Did you fill that up with buckets from the tub?
Yep, I used my big canning pot so it only took about 3-4 trips. I use to do it in our apartment on the Presidio too. It's always makes for a fun day.
I love what you've done with your porch! :) This was such a sweet post -- you're giving your boys a great life.
