March Madness

GIZMO
They say silence is golden, but when you've got little ones silence means nothing but trouble.  That happens to be D's middle name you know, Dal-pal Trouble Nielsen. Just look at those baby blues, even with a grumpy little mug like that, they still just melt my little heart. He keeps me on my toys and I love him for it.

We were making cookies and I noticed it was a little too quiet, so I turned on my Super-Turbo Mama ears and I could hear a little pip-squeak munchin' on a bowl of sugar in his secret hiding place. I just had to laugh as I remembered all the times I was sneaking sugar out of my Mama's kitchen. We're 2 peas in a pod!

Have you ever heard of a 3 year old who begs to do work book pages? D has a pretty large noggin' which means a big ol' brain and he doesn't waste it I tell you what. He's decided he's a reader, just all of a sudden, and read that boy does. The time I get to spend with him while E is at school is so precious to me.

E-dawg the Baller
We bid farewell to a great season. I think it will be the first of many and I couldn't be more proud.

I'm open, I'm open!
Put it up Champ!
Here's the Team of CHAMPIONS!
Coach Boyd talking about my little superstar. He said E was tough and gave the most blood for the team. (He got his faced bounced off the hardwood floor and he is a big bleeder so there was blood everywhere).  E was pretty proud of that and felt pretty special. We sure think he's special and love watching him grow.

SPRING BREAK
We headed to Idaho for some good times and great company.  Thanks to Mom & Dad for taking good care of us, and to the rest of the family for always making time for us. We love spending time with you and wish we lived closer where we could spend more time. It's always so hard to leave, but . . . .

the boys were missing their daddy.

Happy Birthday Hot-Stuff

Make a wish! We're all about teamwork around here.

I didn't do a big cake, but some delicious cream filled cupcakes. Yummy!

Oh, what a beautiful day . . .
Spring is beautiful around here and so we couldn't pass up an opportunity to enjoy a sunny day. We walked around town and went to our favorite park. It has a real merry-go-round and see-saws. You just don't see that anymore. It's these spontaneous moments of good quality time that erase all the messes and tantrums in my mind. I LOVE my little family!!!

It's so rare to have a snapshot with the two of us. I sure do love that handsome hunk of a man!

FEEDING FRENZY
I had a craving for Funnel Cakes so the nights menu had a County Fair theme. All I needed was some cotton-candy and it would have been a perfect evening.

How in the world do you make funnel cakes? Mom and Dad were over and told the boys their new little cousin's name. Tosh? Not bad at all. Evan's b-ball games sure looked like fun!

I love those pictures and I love those little boys. Dallin reminds me of when Emily used to take gum for both of us when we were little. Evan on the other hand is quite the little Maverick as far as sports go. I am a proud Auntie
