Just Evan, me, Saddle Mt.

So Evan and I are home alone as Bethany and Dallin are in Southern Nevada visiting her Grandparents. We decided to go out and hike a bit as the day was going to be beautiful. We went to hike Saddle Mountain. Evan did awesome and I hated to tell him that we were only half way done with the hike even though we had reached the top. He did great though and getting down was easier than getting up especially because he had a packaged cupcake waiting for him when we reached the car. Oh the things that keep us going. It was a good hike and I am still a bit sore.

What a fun daddy and what a perfect day. I'm so proud of that little hiker. Thanks for letting us come Matthew, I'm having a blast! Miss you and see you soon!

I liked that hike. I took the scouts back when. It was raining when I did it and the steep parts were hard, we lost a few boys sliding off of the trail I remember.

Can you make sure it doesn't rain over Thanksgiving? Meghan is hoping we come to Oregon for the feast. We'd sure love to hike on Friday - tish tosh on shopping - it can wait a day or two.

love,
