Thanksgiving

Just trying to finish up the month of November with our fabulous Thanksgiving trip. The boys and I snagged a ride with some new friends so we could start a few days early. We made it to Boise and started preparing for the big day. It was really my first feast without a mother to run the show. I guess really there were 3 mothers; Becky Ann, Kendra & I and it turned out pretty yummy. There was plenty of food and we sure worked hard on those left overs. We brought the Rock Band and had a blast jamming to some tunes. It's so fun to watch everyone get into it. We'll have to get the ol' parents playing once they get back. That would be a fun show! I got to spend so much time seeing all my local family, playing games, playing at the park, shopping, eating and playing more games. It was so fun and so hard to leave, but we do what we have to. We loaded up the van and headed out Sunday and we were about an hour away when the van decided it wasn't going to go any further. Thanks to our friends who picked Matthew up and brought him back to Oregon and called the tow truck for us and to Barrett for rescuing the boys and I and taking us back to Meridian. So I guess my wish came true and I got to spend 3 more days playing with my family. I wish it would have been under better circumstances but I was grateful for the time none the less. It was a great Thanksgiving! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!

Of course, we had a BLAST playing with you guys! I'm so glad your family could come to Meridian for the holiday! I will surely admit that I wish you guys were here, permanantly! Oh well, we will just look forward to to our next visit with you-here or there! P.S. I'd love a copy of the thanksgiving pictures!?!
