Denver
So after I got back from my trip to Utah I washed our clothes and then repacked our suitcases for our big trip to Denver, CO. We've been trying to decided where we might like to end up after we graduate and Denver kept popping up so we decided to go take a look for ourselves. We spent the first couple of nights in a town called Estes Park. It's just outside the Rocky Mountain National Park and it was gorgeous. We loved it! A huge thank you to Barrett & Kendra for the free nights.

There was this neat little herd of Elk. A bunch of mammas and babies with one big daddy. We stopped and watched them for a while. Dallin walked up behind this little bush and was peeking through the branches like he was sneaking up on them. It was pretty cute.
Evan was well on his way out to pet the big Bambi. He has been replacing his Bambi fetish with Ninja Turtles, but he was still pretty excited to see them so close.
It rained our first night there which meant snow up on the peaks. Evan was so excited to see snow that he wallowed in every square inch he could find. I sure do miss the snow.

FUN! We used to live in Loveland, and Estes Park was just up the mountain! We would go there all the time when I was little! Colorado was so pretty! Did it look promising for a move?
Denver is nice and all, but Dallas is nicer. hahahaha, Just kidding! You outdoorsy people would probably shrivel up and die in Dallas with all the city slickers. I can hope though, right?
I meant that I could hope that you move to Dallas, NOT that you shrivel up and die. I think I need to re-take 3rd grade English.
Love the scenery, love the wildlife! I can just smell the fresh air!
Wow!! Talk about amazing photos!!! Great shooting you two. So, I hope after that amazing trip to CO that you've decided to end up there. My brother lived in Aurora. They LOVED it ... that is until they moved to Oregon ... they love that more! ;0)
OK, three things:
1. Shame on you for not looking us up in Utah.
2. Isn't Rocky Mountain National Park just the best! We've been there and estes park a couple of times. Just stunning.
3. If you were there, who was manning the shop back in San Rafael II?! Couldn't have been the Bishop, he's too much the slacker! Brandon must be working hard . . .
You guys are quite the little travellers lately. I bet your boys have been loving every minute of it. Good for you guys!
Have you been flying solo for all these trip? If so, you are a brave woman!
I'm glad you guys had such a great time in Denver! So are you moving there or what's the verdict? Hope everythings going good!
